I knew the problem six years before I knew the solution. The diploma did not teach me the problem — it taught me how to build the answer.Talal spent six years as a safety technician on construction sites. He knew the problem exactly: it is impossible for one observer to see everything across a site spanning several hectares.
He chose the Computer Vision diploma specifically because it was the shortest path to solving his problem. He studied in the evenings and kept his day job throughout the twelve months.
His capstone was a safety equipment detection system. His former manager saw it in the club gallery and asked to trial it on a live site — which gave the project its first real data.
Raqib is deployed on seven sites, Talal secured pre-seed funding from an accelerator, and he left his job to run the company full time.
They were exactly where you are… look where they are now.
From pharmacist to founder of a health technology company
I did not want to change my profession — I wanted tools to solve a problem I saw every day. The institute gave me the tools; the club gave me the door.
From accountant to senior data analyst at a bank
I did not start from zero — I built on eight years of understanding numbers. The diploma only added the tools, and that was enough.
