Overview
This diploma requires no programming background, but gives you enough technical understanding to ask the right questions. You learn how bias creeps into models, how to audit a system whose code you do not own, and how to build a governance framework aligned with the Personal Data Protection Law and regulatory requirements. Graduates become the bridge between technology, risk and legal teams.
As regulation expands, AI governance roles have become among the fastest-growing positions globally and regionally.
Learning outcomes
- Build an organisational AI governance policy
- Audit an intelligent system and write an impact assessment
- Measure bias and offer realistic remediation recommendations
- Ensure AI projects comply with local regulations
- Negotiate contractual terms with AI vendors
Curriculum
Semester 1 — Technical & Ethical Grounding
Semester 2 — Governance, Audit & Capstone
Capstone project
You build a complete AI governance framework for a real organisation: a written policy, a risk matrix, and an impact assessment of a system already in use. It is a practical deliverable that can be adopted directly — several projects from previous cohorts were in fact adopted inside their workplaces.
