Overview
The diploma starts from programming and mathematical zero and assumes no prior background. The first semester covers programming foundations, linear algebra and statistics; you then move through machine learning, deep learning, and finally model deployment and operations. The key difference is that each semester ends with a real project added to your portfolio, and the final semester is dedicated entirely to a capstone showcased in the Thinkers Club before an industry panel.
Regional demand for AI engineers has grown by more than 60% over the past three years, driven by national digital transformation programmes.
Learning outcomes
- Build and rigorously evaluate machine learning and deep learning models from scratch
- Design a full data pipeline from raw source to production-ready model
- Deploy a model as a live service and monitor it after launch
- Adapt language models to Arabic content
- Assess the ethical and regulatory impact of any AI system
- Present a technical project convincingly to a non-technical audience
Curriculum
Semester 1 — Foundations
Semester 2 — Machine Learning
Semester 3 — Deep Learning
Semester 4 — Operations & Capstone
Capstone project
You graduate with a complete AI project: a real problem, real data, a deployed model running online, and professional documentation. The project is published in the Thinkers Club gallery and presented on Demo Day before companies and investors — which makes your portfolio ready before you receive the certificate.

Program faculty
Dr. Lama Alharbi
PhD in Computer Science; led machine learning teams in digital retail before moving to teaching full time. Believes a curriculum without an applied project is just a summary.
Eng. Sara Alqahtani
Computer vision engineer who worked on visual inspection systems in industrial production lines, with published work in pattern recognition.
Eng. Faisal Aldosari
Experienced in running models that serve millions of requests daily; focuses on the gap between a notebook and a live service.
Dr. Nora Alsaleh
Former data protection policy advisor; connects regulatory text to its practical effect on model design.
